Custom Apparel Development and Production Management

Apparel Manufacturer in China for Custom Clothing Programs

Hangzhou Transion Apparels supports international buyers through an in-house sample room, an own small-scale production facility, and long-term manufacturing partners. One central team coordinates development, sourcing, sampling, production follow-up, quality control, packaging, and export preparation.

A Coordinated Apparel Manufacturing Model

Custom clothing programs require more than a production line. Product information must be reviewed, materials and trims confirmed, samples developed, suitable equipment selected, quality expectations communicated, and packaging prepared for the destination market.

Our in-house sample room and small-scale production facility support development, sampling, trial production, smaller programs, and selected apparel projects. Larger quantities, specialized categories, products requiring specific equipment, or multi-category programs may be assigned to selected long-term manufacturing partners.

Clear ownership statement: not every production facility is owned by TRANSION, and not every product is made in our own facility. TRANSION remains the buyer’s central contact for project communication, sourcing, production follow-up, quality coordination, packaging, and export execution.

OEM Projects

For OEM projects, buyers lead the design and specifications. You may provide a tech pack, design, measurement chart, physical sample, or detailed requirements. TRANSION coordinates development, sourcing, sampling, production, and quality control according to the approved information.

ODM Support

For ODM projects, support may include product direction, style modification, material recommendations, pattern development, sample making, and collection development. The level of design involvement is agreed according to the buyer’s brief and project requirements.

For a detailed comparison, read the OEM versus ODM clothing manufacturing guide. Buyers developing labels, hangtags, and branded packaging can review our private label clothing support.

Production Follow-Up, Quality Control, and Export Coordination

Before production, approved samples, measurements, materials, workmanship, labels, and packaging requirements should be recorded clearly. Quality checks may cover dimensions, appearance, workmanship, material consistency, color, decoration placement, labels, packing, and other project-specific points.

AQL-based inspection or another agreed method can be arranged where appropriate. Buyer-appointed third-party inspection can also be coordinated before shipment. Inspection scope, timing, access, and reporting requirements should be confirmed for the project.

Certification and audit requirements are reviewed against the selected production facility and materials. BSCI, ISO, OEKO-TEX, or other requirements may be supported through qualified manufacturing partners where applicable; availability is not universal and must be confirmed before placement.

For a structured review of production controls and supporting evidence, read our apparel factory audit guide for buyers.

What We Need for a Practical Quotation

Send your product category, reference files, quantity by style and color, size range, fabric direction, workmanship, decoration, labels, packaging, destination, inspection requirements, and target schedule. If details are still open, mark them clearly so we can separate confirmed requirements from development decisions.

MOQ depends on the product category, fabric, colors, workmanship, custom materials, labels, packaging, and order structure. Sample timing is confirmed after the design and materials are reviewed. Bulk production timing depends on approval, quantity, material availability, complexity, factory arrangement, and season. Review our apparel MOQ and costing factors before preparing your request.
